EU-Projekt: EUTrigTreat

Ein von der Europäischen Union gefördertes Exzellenzprojekt mit zwölf beteiligten Institutionen und drei mittelständischen Unternehmen aus insgesamt neun Ländern wird von Göttingen aus koordiniert. EUTrigTreat forscht zum Thema Herzrhythmusstörungen.

Cardiac arrhythmias: from genes to improved management of patients

The project is expected to elucidate the genetic and enviromental components that contribute to cardiac arrhythmias, the relative importance of each of these factors and interactions between them. Achieving this aim is ensured by a multidisciplinary approach bringing together basic research studies with clinical investigation, and the involvement of industry and especially SMEs in the consortium.
